Everyone has looked at a book and thought, “What a silly cover/premise, there’s no way this book is any good!” And I approve it; I did it once before but regretted it when I read the book. It was basically a Manga. So, having learned my lesson, I never judged a book by its cover again.

Before getting into Zombie Land Saga Season 2, Zombie Land Saga Season 1 starts off in a very interesting way. In the very first few minutes, our MC Sakura gets hit by our famous Truck-Kun. Now, instead of getting isekai’d like most anime characters do after getting hit by the truck, Sakura wakes up 10 years later just to find out that she has turned into a zombie!

Let me ask you, what makes a good ‘mecha’ anime? Robots? Of course, Einstein. Throw in a boy with the power to make others do whatever comes to his narcissistic head? That works, I guess. But you see, there’s one thing that comes first and foremost before we consider two ‘metal titans’ going at each other.
